Creating a brand for Hemp Hair Co. was a labour of love. Being able to spot and maximise trends is a key part of good brand strategy, but none of it works if the product isn’t outstanding. When we came to create the visual identity and proposition for Hemp Hair Co. we knew that we had to sit at an intersection of natural beauty, wellness, the rise of popularity in CBD products, and the knowledge we had of hemp oil as a major benefit for creating nourished and beautiful hair.
Hemp Hair Co
We took inspiration from the fashion and nutrition sectors, and we talked to experts in luxury beauty. We applied our insight to the creative strategy and developed a look and feel for the brand that was clean, fresh, and evocative; unlike any other hemp-based hair product in the emerging market. This was a premium product and the brand would be positioned alongside well-known luxury brands, but that also meant understanding the priorities of this customer. Sustainability, recyclable packaging, transparency around origin and source, and cruelty free, vegan properties were all a critical part of the brand story.
We created and launched a stunning brand for a start-up looking to break into a luxury niche of haircare. From visual branding, packaging and product photo shoots to social media strategy, and a Shopify web build, we created the platform for Hemp Hair Co. to launch and generate sales. We have continued to develop an influencer and PR plan for ongoing sales growth, and we are supporting ongoing digital marketing including PPC and Instagram advertising.
